Yes, the Stamford Artisans Guild will be holding their Spring hand made craft fair on 16th May 2010 at the Stamford Arts Centre between 10AM and 4PM.
So far there are 30 confirmed crafters who will be displaying a wide variety of crafts and skills – all hand made, all items on display have been hand made by the person on the stall. This is the truly unique aspect to the Guild shows because the criteria is very strict, there will be no imported products, for example jewellery for pennies that has been imported from China, here you will only find products that are truly hand made, you won’t find that at many other shows around the country.
Of course I will be there too with a display of cabachons and tumble stones and various rough and this will also be the first public display of the wire sculpture trees that I have been making over the winter, it will be great to see what the public response is to them.
If this craft fair is anything like the Christmas Fair that the Guild put on last year it will be fantastic for all concerned, both visitors and exhibitors.
So if you are in the Stamford area on Sunday 16th May why not drop by and have a browse, you won’t be disappointed and if you need refreshments, the Arts Centre Café will be open all day serving a wide range of food and drink.
There is free parking nearby at Wharf Road car park which is only a five minute walk away from the Arts Centre.
There will also be a market on Stamford High Street on this day as well, so there will be plenty for visitors to see throughout the day in Stamford on 16th May 2010.
Here is a map showing the main car parks and railway station and the walking routes to find us:

Looking forward to seeing you there.
Best regards
